Game platforms: "GOTHIC1", "GOTHIC2: Classic", "GOTHIC2: The Night Of The Raven" Magoth has written that page and I hope he is not offended if I copy it here because I can't even believe someone can't find the instructions in this page:

To me these are pretty clear instructions. I read about a solution involving closing a "rundll" process in the windows task manager when launching the game, but can't seem to find the process, I only see Gothic (32 bit).įor what its worth I'm running SLI 980 Ti's
GOTHIC 2 GOLD EDITION RELEASE DATE PATCH
I have tried running as admin, running in windows compatibility mode, closing backgroung programs, reinstalling the game/reapplying the patch and nothing seems to work. Clicking on the window causes the game to crash, and I've yet to find any work-arounds for this issue. Shortly after it seems the game changes my resolution? (Currently using a 3840x2160 monitor) and then Gothic 2 opens in windowed mode but with a completely blank white window. Upon booting the game I am greeted by a Gothic 2 Night of the Raven Splash screen (In german, though it's my understanding that this is intended with the Community Patch). I unzipped the community patch contents into the steam directory for gothic 2 and replaced the existing files with those from the community patch. So I've just installed Gothic 2 Gold Edition along with the Iron Keep Studios 2.1 Community patch rar file.
